WALL STREET JOURNAL SAYS NOTHING FROM PARIS WILL HAVE ANY IMPACT ON THE CLIMATE

The Wall Street Journal has editorialised about the UN Paris climate talks, saying:

* nothing coming out of Paris will have any impact on the climate</o:p>

* whatever new commitments the agreement contains are not specific or enforceable</o:p>

* still no requirements for transparency and independent confirmation of emission reductions</o:p>

* goals are far in the future, long after current politicians are gone</o:p>

* this is more about income redistribution than climate</o:p>

Finally commenting: “The grandiose claims of triumph in Paris represent the self-interest of a political elite that wants more control over the private economy in the U.S. and around the world. These are the last people who will save the planet.” Download pdf [here ](wsj.paris.pdf)
